Led by wife-and-husband team Kelly and Greg Treadway, who serve as front-facing project managers, the company is supported by professionals specializing in writing, design, technology and administrative support. Our team brings 75+ years of experience to our services.

With years of industry expertise gained through collaborations with esteemed event professionals, event and hospitality companies, associations and organizations throughout North America, or work elevates clients’ positioning while impacting communities.

Kelly brings nearly three decades of specialized expertise in events, hospitality, and marketing to EventCurious. Currently, aside from EventCurious, she acts as Executive Director of WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association). Her career began in Atlanta’s cultural sector as Events Director at the historic Rialto Center, where she developed a rental program that became the revenue arm sustaining the venue’s Signature Series programs.

Her hospitality experience expanded as Catering & Events Director for Kimpton Hotels’ opening team in Atlanta, followed by her role as a top Sales Manager for Novare Events representing Atlanta’s premier event and wedding venues. 

Kelly has served as Sales & Marketing Director for various catering, rental, and entertainment companies – gaining comprehensive industry insight.

In 2012, Kelly identified an underserved market for specialized events marketing. After gaining digital marketing certification and conducting a nine-month company build, EventCurious launched in February 2013 with six full-service clients. The company flourished, employing writers and designers across the U.S. – at times managing digital marketing for up to 27 industry accounts in North America.

In 2017, after a national search, WIPA (Wedding Industry Professionals Association) selected EventCurious as their marketing partner. Kelly’s role expanded as WIPA’s Assistant Executive Administrator in 2021, and becoming Executive Director in 2022 when EventCurious assumed management of the association. Today she serves on the SEARCH Foundation Board and is a SEARCH 100 member.
